I’m working on chapter 3 of Football, Calculus and Cappuccinos and since I’ve been busy with school and got a little sidetracked with a new idea and my poetry, I kind of lost track of where I was with it. Which, that’s fine, this is still the very beginnings of the story and I’m still trying to figure things out. So I need to reread the first two chapters but like

I’ve read it soooooo many times already I literally don’t want to read it anymore.

AAAHHH Chapter 3 is over 12,000 words right now and it’s not even done?? There will be cuts but it’s still going to be long af.

AND I just finished writing the scene with the match (I’m super nervous about it but at least it’s done, it was hard as hell to write) and am now writing Lily and James meeting afterwards and dying because I’ve been SO excited to write this scene since I came up with this idea months ago 😭😭 Like this is all the catalyst for the entire rest of the story and I’M SO EXCITED

I’ve just finished the final scene: 15,752 words. Holy shit.

Now to go back in and do some surgery.

Okay so a version of this is done but I just know there’s so much wrong with it and I’m really struggling to fix it. I’ve sent it off to my sister to read for feedback but uhh it’s nearly 16k words right now (oh my GOD) and she’s a grad student, it’ll take some time.

Soooo, if you’ve read the first 2 chapters and are interested in continuing reading this story: is anyone open to acting as a sort of beta for this chapter? You will definitely get spoilers because this chapter is a catalyst for the main plot of the story and it will definitelty take up some time bc as I said, 16k words holy shit. But I would really love feedback from someone who is not me.
