URGENT SB
Bangladesh teens are in a horrible situation. Many posts circulate about how they are killed, injured, and raped only because they were protesting for the most basic of the rights: to walk to school safe:
On 29th of July 2018, 7 students headed to their institution were killed by a reckless bus driver. Their classmates protested with slogans on the same bus stand, and it rapidly became a national student protest. The police is now beating, raping, and killing them.
We don’t get information about it because the government forbade the medias to cover it, and the students’ wifi access is being slowed down and restricted, which leaves them unable to request help. More recent information states that they have had a general phone black-out of 24h, and that the whole population’s access to the net is to be shut down.
SO WE MUST STAND UP FOR THEM, BECAUSE THEY WOULD DO IT FOR US IF WE WERE IN THEIR SITUATION.
